So typical...

It's a hot day.  Crazy, over 100 degrees, hot.  We're all stuck inside and doing our best to entertain ourselves in the last two hours leading up to bedtime.  The boys were playing iPad and I decided to take a video since they were playing nicely together.  And suddenly, they weren't, which is how things go in our household these days.  They can be playing well one moment, start teasing and tormenting the next, and as soon as we separate them, they beg to play together again.  As I watched the video, I realized that it captured so many characteristics of our kids right now:
1. Brody is almost naked.  Well, it IS really hot out.
2. Logan is using his silly, fake laugh.  I love this laugh and will miss it when he outgrows it.
3. Brody is tormenting Logan.  What's new?
4. Logan is whining.  ...sigh, what's new?
5. The kids are so entranced with the iPad that they don't even notice I'm taking a video until they both look up.  This is why our iPad is engraved "iBabysitter".
